As per usual, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy stuck his nose where it doesn't belong while talking about Lane Kiffin's head coaching future.

With job offers from all across the SEC being sent in Kiffin's direction, everyone has their own opinion of where he should be next season: Ole Miss, LSU, or Florida. Portnoy, who has never had any genuine knowledge about college football, shared his thoughts, which nobody asked for.

"I would definitely rather coach at LSU," Portnoy said. "Florida doesn't do it for me."

Dave Portnoy doesn't know anything about the SEC

Yes, the LSU Tigers are a powerhouse program, but so are the Florida Gators, and Kiffin has turned the Ole Miss Rebels into one as well.

For Portnoy to throw shade at the Gators proves just how little he knows about college football, and more specifically, how little he knows about the SEC.

Portnoy's roots tie him to Ann Arbor as a University of Michigan alum and big-time Wolverine supporter. So, when it comes to Kiffin deciding between three teams in the Southeastern Conference, why would anyone care what Portnoy thinks?

On Friday night, the Tigers reportedly sent Kiffin a $90 million offer, with reports on Saturday sharing that it had risen to as high as $98 million. Once again, Florida was behind the ball, taking a little too long to make any decisions about their head coaching future.

Nothing about Kiffin is set and stone, and Ole Miss athletic director Keith Carter shared that the program wouldn't make an announcement until after the Egg Bowl, the Rebels' in-state rivalry game against the Mississippi State Bulldogs next weekend.

So, no matter what Portnoy or anybody else said, Kiffin was sticking around in Oxford for at least six more days, and the teams that were trying to poach him (LSU and Florida) would simply have to wait to see what would happen next.
