The Florida Gators have gotten through the tune-ups and next week the fun begins. Campbell wasn't expected to provide much pushback and the Gators made sure that didn't happen, beating the Fighting Camels 52-3 in the Swamp.
With a road game against Auburn coming up in Week 3, Florida needed to use this game to finely tune some areas that needed to be better and some of that was accomplished. But there are also some concerns that still need to be addressed. And with that being said, here are the winners and losers from Week 2:
Winner: The 1st-team Florida offense was on fire again
Maybe this game got off to a little slower of a start with Campbell actually grabbing the early lead, but once things got rolling for the Gators starting unit, it was all good with a 35-point second quarter. Aaron Philo had a remarkably efficient game, going 16-of-21 for 242 yards and a couple of touchdowns. Philo isn't trying to recreate the wheel out there. He's finding the right guys in space to do damage. That's the key to his success and the success of Buster Faulkner's system.
Dallas Wilson had the second 100-yard game of his career and Bailey Stockton probably claimed that role among the top four wide receivers with a solid game (4 catches, 41 yards) and a high-five for Vernell Brown III at the end of a 63-yard punt return.

Winner: Just hand the Doak Walker Award to Jadan Baugh
For the second straight week, Baugh's usage was relatively tame, but the junior made the most of his opportunities with 136 yards and two touchdowns on just 14 carries. The highlight was a 75-yard touchdown run that ended the night for the starting unit and gave Florida a 52-3 lead. Baugh now has 562 yards and seven touchdowns over the past three games.
Next week things will get tougher out there on the plains, but Baugh has been through the SEC gauntlet before and looks like he's in top form.
Winner: Alex Clark gets on the stat sheet
How would we know what Florida has in the punting game if they never attempted a punt? Last week, Clark was suited up, but the Gators didn't need him. In Week 2, however, Clark got in a couple of kicks, averaging 52 yards with a long of 55. All jokes aside, Florida will probably have some games where field position is going to come into play, and it was good for Clark to get a few live reps.
Loser: The second-team offense is blanked
As good as the first team was, the second team didn't exactly keep the momentum going. Tramell Jones was ok, (8-for-11, 58 yards), but he had an interception. The running game was... ok, but Duke Clark couldn't follow up his big game from Week 1. It is what it is, but I think the coaches and fans would've liked to have seen more from the second unit, because Florida is going to need some of those guys as the season wears on.
Loser: Micah Mays' slow start continues
Mays was one of the Gators' notable offseason transfers on offense and the senior was expected to be heavily featured in the rotation. Instead, he had just two catches for 15 yards and a dropped pass that led to an interception in Week 1, and he had one catch for one yard against Campbell. With Eric Singleton out with an ankle injury, it was a chance for Mays to get back on track and, instead, you wonder if he's going to have a regular role in this offense.
Loser: Florida still needs to see more out of the defense
The numbers on defense were better this week as expected, because Campbell isn't as good on offense as Florida Atlantic, but I know Brad White would like to see the group create more negative plays. LJ McCray had a sack and two tackles for loss. That's good. But the Gators had no interceptions despite Campbell having 38 pass attempts. This has to be a unit that causes havoc with the pass rush and in the secondary and they have to be better.
