5. Nov. 5 @Arkansas

The contest against the South Carolina Gamecocks could have easily made this spot, but South Carolina no longer has Steve Spurrier, so this little rivalry will likely lose a lot of lust.

The Arkansas Razorbacks surely won’t be the Gators’ first true road test of the season (more from that later), but they will be a road test nonetheless.

Arkansas pulled off some upsets last season after a horrible 1-3 start, but this is this season. If the Razorbacks can continue to score at will (they scored 50+ points in three straight games at one point), then things could get interesting for the Razorbacks. It certainly doesn’t hurt their cause that they will get the Gators at home.

With that in mind, this game will be played later in the season, and we will know a whole lot more about both teams by then. Until then, Florida is still expected to be one of the better teams in the SEC East, and the same thing cannot be said about Arkansas in the West.
