Antonio Morrison, 89 Overall

The defense of the Florida Gators isn’t all about the secondary, as one of their defensive captains Antonio Morrison, is a wrecking ball at MLB.

The 6’1, 225 linebacker has had a productive career at UF, which is why he earns an 89 overall in the hypothetical NCAA Football 16.

With 191 total tackles (seven being for a loss) in the last two years, Morrison has been an impact player for the Gators at the heart of defense.

His strength, tackling and awareness ratings would be his highest attributes in NCAA 16. The physical Morrison deserves a 92 strength rating, a 92 in tackling and a 90 in awareness.

Morrison loses points in his overall rating because of injury and his athleticism. The former 4-star recruit won’t wow you with his speed and agility and he did suffer a pretty serious injury at the end of 2014.

But Morrison is a thumper at linebacker and if he proves he can stay healthy in 2015, I can even definitely see him being a viable NFL Draft prospect.

Morrison would be my player of choice on the Gators if NCAA 16 dropped on to shelves right now.
