Single-Season and Career Rushing TD leader (Since 1956)
2007: Tim Tebow, 23 rushing touchdowns; 56 Career Rushing TDs
Okay, okay, I know.
You probably did indeed know that Tim Tebow is the SEC career rushing leader in TDs.

You also probably knew that Tebow is still tied with Auburn’s Tre Mason for the SEC record single-season rushing TD crown with 23.
But it still is an amazing stat for any player to hold in the historic SEC, let alone a quarterback who didn’t exactly set the world on fire with his passing or throwing skills.
Defenses knew that the Gators and Tebow were going to run the ball down their throats, but still couldn’t do anything about it.
That’s why this record has to be mentioned as one of the all-time crowning achievements in Florida history.
With the defense knowing exactly what you want to do as an offense, they know how you’re going to do it and yet, you still beat them with a rushing attack led by your QB.
That’s still an SEC historical tale worth telling everyday.
