As we move on from LIU and look ahead to USF, the Gators enter Saturday's contest against the Bulls as 17.5-point favorites. Blowing out LIU 55-0 didn't teach us much, but there were some standouts who weren't previously on the radar for major snaps.

So these are four Gators who we would like to see get an increase in snaps this Saturday in The Swamp.

Mark Faircloth

We here at Hail Florida Hail would like to think we have a pretty good handle on the roster and feel like we know the bulk of the players Florida has. But even we had to do a double-take when Mark Faircloth took 32 snaps at left tackle on Saturday against LIU.

Faircloth is a former walk-on from the class of 2024 who was a literal zero-star prospect coming out of high school. He took two snaps last year against FSU, but we didn't think much of it.

Faircloth is listed at left tackle, and so who knows if he can play right tackle. But after Faircloth allowed zero pressures in his 32 snaps, we'd like to see him get a shot at right tackle if Bryce Lovett struggles once again.

Vernell Brown III

Unlike Faircloth, we knew who Vernell Brown III was and even predicted before the game that he could go for 125 yards receiving. But considering most on the national stage didn't have Brown III on their radar, his emergence was a pleasant sight.

He took the most snaps of any Florida WR, and even if guys like Dallas Wilson and Aidan Mizell come back healthy, Brown III did more than enough to maintain his spot as the top guy in Florida's rotation.

Jeramiah McCloud

The true freshman from Georgia got ten snaps along the defensive line, and he was effective with those snaps. Lined up mostly in the B gap, he was a brick wall LIU had no answers to.

Now, yes, that was LIU, but he proved he is worthy of staying in the DT rotation until further notice.

Jayden Woods

For as much hype as Jayden Woods got this offseason, it was weird he only got 13 snaps on Saturday.

He flashed some physical play, and we'd like to see if he is worth the hype against USF.
