Florida had an easy night on Saturday as the Gators cruised to a 55-0 win over LIU to start 2025 1-0. It was by far the weakest opponent on the schedule for the Gators, as their schedule only gets more difficult from here.

So we are going to take a look at how the remaining 11 opponents on Florida's schedule looked in week one and whether their stock is up, down, or neutral.

USF - Stock Up

USF had the nation to themselves on Thursday night, and for the first quarter, it looked like they were going to faceplant. But then their high-tempo offense kicked into gear, and Bryum Brown became very difficult to tackle.

Their offensive line looked very suspect but their defense looked far more physical than it had been the past two years.

LSU - Stock Neutral

Beating No. 4 Clemson is a sign that LSU should be a contender for the SEC and beyond, but Garrett Nussmeier didn't exactly light things up on Saturday night.

The LSU defense did look the part, though, so for now we are going to leave them the same.

Miami - Stock Neutral

Basically, the same logic as with LSU, a top ten team that fixed some things but also has warts in other areas.

Carson Beck was fine, but also got bailed out from throwing an interception in the endzone by CJ Daniels doing his best Vernell Brown III impersonation.

The biggest story for Miami is that their defense actually looked decent, though it also helped that Notre Dame threw nothing but screens in the first half.

Texas - Stock Down

The Longhorn defense held Ohio State to just 14 points, so that is worth taking note of and a sign that Texas is going to hang around all year.

But Arch Manning was not the second coming of Tim Tebow despite what we were told, and so the stock for Texas took a hit on Saturday.

Texas A&M - Stock Down

The Aggies gave up 24 points to UTSA, who went 7-6 last year. They did score 42 points, but that defensive performance is raising some eyebrows among those paying attention.

Mississippi State - Stock Down

I don't know if it's possible for the Bulldogs to have their stock sink any lower, but they were only up 13-10 at halftime against 1-11 Southern Mississippi.

Eventually, Mississippi State pulled away, but if you were hoping the Bulldogs would look different in 2025, keep hoping.

Georgia - Stock Neutral

Georgia went out and beat up on Marshall, but also didn't cover the spread, so there wasn't much to learn from their outing on Saturday.

Kentucky - Stock Down

No one was expecting the Wildcats to be good in 2025, but they might be worse than anyone could have imagined.

Kentucky had to survive a one-score game against Toledo, a squad that finished 6th in the MAC in 2024.

The seat for Mark Stoops might be an inferno by season's end.

Ole Miss - Stock Neutral

The Rebels went out and beat Georgia State 63-7. One time Gator commit Austin Simmons went for over 300 yards and three touchdowns, but he also threw for two interceptions.

Ole Miss thrives on running up the scoreboard against weaker opponents, so their stock stays neutral.

Tennessee- Stock Up

After essentially trading for Joey Aguilar, Tennessee's offense actually looked decent against Syracuse. He went 16/28 for 247 yards and three touchdowns.

Giving up 26 points to Syracuse isn't great, but scoring 45 is going to make people take a second look at the Volunteers.

FSU - Stock Up

Probably the biggest winner of the week that is on Florida's 2025 schedule is the Neighbors to the West in Tallahassee.

FSU entered its contest against Alabama as two-touchdown underdogs, and even after an opening drive by Alabama where it looked like FSU's defensive line had no answers, the Seminoles pieced it all together and looked like the better team for the remaining 50 minutes.

QB Thomas Castellanos backed up his offseason of smack talk, and there will be no repeat of 2-10 this year for FSU.
