Jon Sumrall and the Florida Gators continue to add to what's starting to feel like the best offensive line class in the country.

Four-star offensive tackle Kennedee Jackson committed to the Gators on Tuesday off the heels of his official visit this past weekend. Jackson chose Florida over LSU, Georgia and Georgia Tech. It's another big recruiting win in Georgia, as the Gators have now received pledges from four of the top-20 recruits in the Peach State.

Jackson originally had a commitment date of June 10 and moved up his scheduled official visit to Georgia this weekend to make sure to fit it in before his announcement, but the visit to Gainesville sealed the deal and the 6-foot-6, 300-pound athlete decided he saw everything he needed to see.

It's another elite recruit in the trenches for offensive line coach Phil Trautwein to mold into a star. Jackson joins five-star prospect Maxwell Hiller and blue-chippers Elijah Hutchinson and Peyton Miller as part of a formidable front that should serve the Gators well for the next few years.

Florida jumped into Jackson's recruitment later than most schools, but he was one of the first offers that was extended by Sumrall and Trautwein once they were able to get going in January. What separated the Gators' offer from other schools was the interest they had in Jackson on both sides of the ball. It's likely that he'll end up playing on the offensive side of the ball, but defensive line coach Gerald Chatman liked Jackson's potential enough on defense that it could be a possibility once he arrives on campus.

There was another advantage for Florida that came a little closer to home for the Lithonia, Georgia resident. His dad is a huge Gators fan.

“My dad is from Florida and that is his favorite team,” Jackson told Corey Bender of On3. “So he was proud of me."

How does Florida's offensive line class stack up nationally?

Hiller is the top-ranked interior offensive lineman in the country. He's an elite player that will likely see the field early in his career. He's big enough and athletic enough to play tackle and be very good, but as a guard, Hiller looks like a future All-SEC/All-American player. Jackson is another athletic body up front that offers versatility at multiple positions. He's going to be worked out at right tackle early, but he's another player that may kick inside if the situation calls for it.

Miller is another athletic player that will be given the opportunity to be the team's center. He projects best as an interior guy, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him play all three interior positions as a freshman before becoming the full-time man in the middle. Jackson has the body and athletic profile (he's also a basketball player) to be a left tackle. The arm length, the footwork... it's all there.

With a five-star recruit and three four-star players in the class, it's a group that Trautwein is excited about going into many SEC battles and one that should make quarterbacks and running backs feel comfortable playing behind.
