Florida has been a bit unlucky on the injury front in 2025. Between the offseason DJ Lagway had and losing Caleb Banks against Miami, the Gators seem to have something new pop up every week.
Even this week, Florida had to add a surprise player to the injury list after he wasn't on the initial Wednesday list.
In total, Florida is expected to have seven players officially out against Texas.
Is Dallas Wilson expected to play?
All systems seem to be a go to see the debut of the five-star wide receiver, finally. After a dazzling spring game, Wilson was sidelined late in fall camp and wasn't seen in the first four games of the season.
Who knows just how healthy Wilson actually is, but his presence should be a boost to a struggling Florida offense.
Aidan Mizell and J. Michael Sturdivant should play too
Mizell has been the topic of conversation this season as he has yet to take 20 snaps in a single game. He missed the game against Miami and it was never really clear what the injury was that caused him to sit out.
J. Michael Sturdivant left the game against Miami after a hard hit but he appears to be good to go.
Ja'Kobi Jackson out
Ja'Kobi Jackson is the most notable new name on the injury report that most fans didn't have on their radar through the bye week. Jackson took seven carries for 39 yards against Miami, but will miss the game against Texas.
With Treyaun Webb also out, look for Duke Clark or KD Daniels to get an uptick in carries.
Joseph Mbatchou joins Caleb Banks
Joseph Mbatchou was a Thursday addition to the injury report after not being on it on Wednesday. He will join fellow defensive tackle Caleb Banks on the sidelines.
Banks left the game against Miami and is expected to be out for a while, if not the entire season.
The Rest
Dijon Johnson, Aaron Gates, and LJ McCray are the remaining three players listed as out for the Gators.
Gates is the most notable because, on Monday, Billy Napier had said he was "day-to-day," only for it to come out on Tuesday that Gates would be having shoulder surgery.
