Florida has a real pathway to the playoffs in 2026. That might have been crazy to think about prior to the start of the season, but four games in, the Gators are 4-0 and are currently considered a favorite in the majority of their remaining games.
With eight regular-season games still to play, here's Florida’s schedule ranked from its easiest remaining game to the hardest.

8. 10/10 vs. South Carolina
The way things are looking for South Carolina, our preseason prophecy that their game against the Gators could be Shane Beamer’s swan song is coming closer and closer to reality. The Gamecocks are a mess right now and just had to suspend and just had to suspend star defensive end Dylan Stewart for his conduct during the Alabama loss.
7. 11/21 vs. Vanderbilt
It is clear that the magic the Commodores had in 2025 hasn’t followed into 2026. They pulled off a miracle finish against NC State, only to follow it up with a loss to Auburn. And beyond their game against Arkansas, Vanderbilt isn’t going to be favored in any upcoming game the rest of the way in 2026.
6. 11/7 vs. Oklahoma
This would have been unheard of at the start of the season, and in our own preseason predictions, we had predicted this would be a loss for Florida. But Oklahoma is in a bad place right now and hasn’t topped 14 points in their last three games. Throw in the fact that this is at The Swamp and this is a game Florida fans should feel confident about right.
5. 11/27 at FSU
One could probably argue this game should be at No. 7, and we wouldn’t have too much of an argument if one doesn’t fear this game. The only reason we have this at No. 5 is that it is in Tallahassee, FSU was at least feisty against Alabama, and given this is a rivalry game there is always the possibility for some voodoo magic.
4. 11/14 at Kentucky
Kentucky has become a thorn in the side of Florida after 31 years of domination. They recovered from their Alabama loss for a huge win at Texas A&M, and their offense has shown some punch at times. And given this will be a mid-November game at Kentucky, where the weather could get chilly for Florida, and this is a game to keep an eye one.
3. 10/3 at Missouri
One of the reasons why the pathway feels so clear for the Gators is that one would have to assume they would make it going 10-2. And if Missouri is considered the third hardest game the Gators have left, 10-2 feels like a reality within reach. Florida has struggled at Missouri in recent years, but there is a massive gap between Missouri and the other two teams on this list.
2. 10/31 vs Georgia (in Atlanta)
The last two years have been super frustrating for Florida fans because the Gators have been within reach of Georgia only for things to slip away. Still, the Bulldogs have the only offense that has put up more points than the Gators in 2026. This game is in Atlanta this year, which will probably create a bit more of a Georgia-friendly crowd.
1. 10/17 at Texas
Maybe it's just the Kool-Aid, but even Texas doesn’t feel invincible, as their offense hasn’t exactly been lighting up the scoreboard. And they have to partake in their own rivalry game the week prior to Florida, while the Gators get to face South Carolina.
But this game is on the road, and Colin Simmons scares us against an offensive line for Florida that still has some questions to answer.
