After Florida started 4-0, we here at Hail Florida Hail ran a piece that ranked the remainder of the games on the schedule by level of difficulty. In that ranking, we said the Missouri game was the 3rd hardest game left.

We got that one right.

We also said the South Carolina game was the least demanding on the slate.

Oops.

We also said Texas was the hardest game left.

Also oops, but in a positive way.

So let’s try this again, since Florida has five regular-season games left after their bye week. This is how difficult Florida’s five remaining games are, from easiest to most difficult.

Ranking Florida’s remaining games in the 2026 season

5. 11/21 vs. Vanderbilt

Ever since their miracle against NC State, Vanderbilt's bottom has officially fallen out. Even against Arkansas, the one team left on their schedule that they should have beaten, they lost. The magic from the past two seasons is non-existent in Nashville in 2026.

4. 11/27 at FSU

This is a bit of a flip-flop from the initial ranking, and there is a pathway one could justify FSU at No. 3 on this list. The Seminoles in spots have shown an ability to have some spunk, but this is still a Mike Norvell-coached team that just isn’t a great football team. There could be some rivalry hijinks that happen, but this would be a bad loss for Florida to take.

3. 11/7 vs. Oklahoma

Offense for the Sooners is still a massive problem, as Oklahoma has been held to under 20 points in four of their six games to this point. Their upset over Texas does bump them ahead of FSU on this list, though there are now questions as to how good Texas actually is. There is enough talent on the defensive side of the ball for the Sooners that could make this a tough one.

2. 11/14 at Kentucky

In one breath, Kentucky is boosted because of the two two-point conversions they made against LSU and South Carolina. But the Wildcats have shown an ability to score as needed, and there is something about a gloomy night in Lexington that has flashing red lights all over this game.

1. 10/31 vs Georgia (in Atlanta)

Even with Georgia’s loss to Auburn, this is still going to be a massive challenge for the Gators. Given the annual game Georgia has against Georgia Tech, their staff is well acquainted with Buster Faulkner, and we would expect they will employ an approach similar to Missouri's. Florida has shown the last two years they can hang with Georgia, but getting over the finish line has been a different story.
