During the NCAA Baseball Tournament, Florida head coach Kevin O'Sullivan went viral after an incident with Coastal Carolina staff members.

O'Sullivan was upset over the handling of the schedule and took out his frustrations on anyone and everyone just hours before the Gators had their season end at the hands of East Carolina.

O'Sullivan received a public reprimand from the D1 Baseball Committee on Friday, and shortly after, the University of Florida announced he would be suspended for the opening series against UAB in 2026.

Scott Stricklin gets extended

Swamp247 has reported that Florida AD Scott Stricklin has been extended for three more years. Terms of the deal haven't been revealed, but it will keep Stricklin in town through 2030.

The timing of the deal is interesting, considering the complicated tenure Stricklin has had since being hired back in 2016.

On one hand, Stricklin hired Todd Golden, and that move paid off with a national title. He has also helped oversee numerous facility upgrades, including baseball and softball getting brand new stadiums, as well as football getting a massive upgrade to its training facility.

But beyond Golden, Stricklin's coaching hires across all sports have been mostly underwhelming. We all know the jury is still out on Billy Napier, but Stricklin has also made hires for soccer and women's basketball that have been downright disastrous and scandal-ridden.

Of the 13 national titles Florida has won overall across all sports since Stricklin took over, only men's basketball this past season was by a coach that Stricklin hired.

Ben Shelton has U.S. Open run end

Former Gator tennis star Ben Shelton has seen his time at the U.S. Open come to an early end after he had to withdraw from his third-round match due to a shoulder injury.

Shelton was up two sets to one, but it was clear in the fourth set that something was wrong with his shoulder. He lost the set 6-4 and opted to pull out.

It's the first match in his professional career that he has had to cut short due to injury.

Former Gator commit Adarius Hayes charged with vehicular homicide

One-time Florida commit and current Miami Hurricanes linebacker Adarius Hayes has been officially charged with thre counts of vehicular homicide following a crash in May that killed three people.

The crash happened on May 10 in Largo, and Hayes is accused of driving 78 MPH in a 40 MPH zone and "maneuvering aggressively through traffic shortly before the crash."

A 78, 10, and 4-year-old were killed in the crash.

Hayes had committed to Florida back in January of 2023 and claimed in June of 2023 that he had "shut down" his recruiting. But Miami continued to push for Hayes, and he flipped to the Hurricanes that December.

Hayes has been suspended by Miami.
