During their Junior Day visits, one of the month's headliners for Florida Football was Bralan Womack. The top 50 overall safety hadn't been on the public radar for the Gators, but there seems to be steam picking up.
Florida is continuing to pick up steam and have made the final four for Womack as he sets his official visits for this summer.
Florida Football: In A Flash
When we profiled Womack a couple of weeks ago, we noted his abilities as an athletic two-way player.
At the time, we said:
"Womack is a two-way player whose more impressive clips come as a wide receiver. He's more of a stop-and-go route runner, but when he goes, he explodes. In one clip, he runs a slow-motion jet sweep, is dead to rights for a 10-yard loss, yet wiggles away for an eventual first down.
As a safety, he doesn't necessarily blow guys up like some other prospects, but his athleticism and read of the game are on display on several interceptions.
Womack does have solid speed with long, galloping strides and has a PR in the 100-meter dash of 11.03 seconds."
His Junior Day visit appears to have gone well as he is slated to return to Gainesville during the spring and has announced he will take four official visits this summer.
Florida has made the list along with Auburn, Ohio State, and Texas A&M.

Womack has indicated to insiders that new safeties coach Vinnie Sunseri is playing a big role in the sudden public interest in the Gators. Florida will get the first official visit on the list on May 30, with Ohio State getting the last on June 20.
Womack will be a good litmus test for the Gators and their class of 2026. If they genuinely have more momentum this summer compared to what they had last year, Womack is the type of prospect they need to try and land.
