Could some breaking news be on the way soon for the Florida football team? That's what fans are hoping for when it comes to 5-star quarterback Elijah Haven, who has standout QB at the next level written all over him already.

Haven is considered a generational talent and he's quite high on what Billy Napier is working to get done in Gainesville. Could it lead to him joining the program down the road? Things appear like they might end up that way, as two new official predictions have come in for Florida to capture his verbal pledge. We don't have to tell you that this could be a game-changer for the Gators:

Florida football appears to be in pole position to land 5-star QB Elijah Haven

So, you're saying there's a chance? Haven is a 6-5, 215-pounder out of the Dunham School in Baton Rouge. If he does commit to Florida, LSU fans are probably going to lose their minds that Brian Kelly let another top local prospect head elsewhere - 5-star Baton Rouge safety Blaine Bradford is a 2026 commit to Ohio State.

Haven has picked up 14 offers early on in his recruitment, but he's been planning trips to campuses this season to Florida, Ohio State, Alabama, LSU and Florida State. In a recent interview, it seemed like Alabama was giving Haven a lot to think about, but now it's the Gators who have everyone talking.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Haven is ranked five stars, the No. 1 quarterback in the country and No. 1 player overall for the 2027 class. With DJ Lagway entering his sophomore season, the timing could be perfect for everyone involved.

The young signal-caller is still open with his recruitment and no finalists have been listed. However, it's always pretty eye-opening when Steve Wiltfong puts in his prediction like this. Clearly, Napier and his staff are making Haven a top priority and the '27 QB is taking notice of things. We'll see if Florida ends up winning the monster recruiting battle in the end.
