NFL dreams can rise and fall at the Combine as prospects try to impress NFL GMs ahead of the draft. One of the players who was hoping for a big performance was former Florida cornerback Devin Moore. After a solid 2025 campaign, Moore was injured late in the season.

He gave it a go at the Combine, and while his results lagged behind those of others, Moore doesn’t seem too concerned as the draft process rolls on.

Moore took part in the 40-yard dash and ran 4.50 seconds. Of the 20 cornerbacks who ran on Friday, Moore’s time came in 17th.

Moore didn’t take part in any other drills on Friday, and he took to social media after to highlight an article that stated Moore had groin surgery in December and was only cleared to run the 40-yard dash. He also stated, “Need some more time. We’ll shake back at pro day!!”

Moore came to Florida from Naples as part of the class of 2022, Billy Napier’s transition class when he was first hired, as a four-star prospect. Unfortunately for Moore, injuries were a constant theme that kept him off the field.

In 2022, he played 167 snaps before needing shoulder surgery.

In 2023, he played 194 snaps but also suffered a concussion that limited him.

In 2024, he played 278 snaps but had another shoulder injury.

He finally put together a full season in 2025, but then needed groin surgery afterwards.

When he was on the field, Moore was one of Florida’s best lockdown corners. Over his four seasons witht he Gators, Moore was targeted 66 times and he gave up just 35 receptions while also registering eight pass breakups and five interceptions.

Prior to the NFL Combine, most mock drafts viewed Moore as a third or fourth-round pick. If he can heal up and put together a solid Pro Day, there is no reason to think that projection won’t hold despite his time on Friday.
