After things were moving at a snail's pace, they are now going to be speeding up in a big way when it comes to Lane Kiffin. Is he going to stay at Ole Miss or is he going to be taking over things for the Florida football team now that Billy Napier has been fired?

That's what everyone is wondering, but a new, massive roadblock has arrived for the Gators. On Monday, news broke that LSU has taken its efforts to a new level in trying to get him to make a permanent move to Baton Rouge too. Obviously, this is not what the Florida faithful want to see:

LSU is now pushing hard to land Lane Kiffin over Florida football
According to LSU reporter Wilson Alexander, the Tigers sent out a private jet to bring Kiffin's family to Baton Rouge so they could tour the area. Think LSU rolled out the red carpet to impress the Kiffin clan? You better believe it.
Not only is this not great for Ole Miss, but it's deflating news for Florida too. From the moment the Gators decided to part ways with Billy Napier, plenty of people in Gainesville set their targets on Kiffin to not only come in and take over, but also to be the savior the program needs.
Kiffin has been taking his sweet time with a decision and he's also been trolling a lot of us out there with his cryptic messages on Twitter. While that's been pretty entertaining, time is running out for him to make a call and Pete Nakos has reported that Ole Miss is looking for some clarity on his future by the end of the week.
Hey, we don't blame Ole Miss for leaking that info out, as they can't just sit on their hands and wait to see if Kiffin is going to commit to leading the program for the long haul or not. With that said, Florida can't wait forever either. Soon enough, we'll find out what Kiffin's plans will be, but more nerves have arrived knowing that LSU is ready to make a run at trying to steal him away from the Rebels too.
