Florida at Missouri: Key storylines

1. Can Florida handle being the team everyone is talking about?

Even before the season, this game had trap game potential written all over it for the Gators. Now that Florida is No. 8 in the country and has a genuine pathway to the playoffs, this game will be a test as to whether or not the Gatros are matrue enough to handle success.

2. Can Missouri slow down Jadan Baugh?

Baugh has rushed for 600 yards and 11 touchdowns through four games. Against Ole Miss, he carried the ball 29 times for 142 yards and three scores, helping Florida finish with 302 rushing yards.

And on paper, Missouri is not a great tackling team. The stage is set for another 100+ yard day for Baugh.

3. Can Florida force Austin Simmons into mistakes?

The former Florida commit has thrown 11 touchdown passes without an interception this season. As we have chronicled, Florida has had a defense that has been a bit bend but don’t break this season. If Simmons gets on a roll, this could morph into a shootout. But Florida is 20 top in the country in defensive havoc rate and will need big plays again to slow down Missouri
