The spring game for Florida Football is today. While the Gators are not televising the event, they are still allowing the public to show up and watch the 2025 Gators in action before breaking off for the summer.
For those who are going today, here are five players to keep an eye on during the game.
Florida Football: Is J. Michael Sturdivant as advertised?
Reports out of camp have been positive for the transfer wide receiver from UCLA, but it is one thing for the coaches to say it and it is another for fans to see it.
As we have said throughout the spring, Sturdivant has all the potential to flash, but his actual metrics for the past two years have not been good. So, we shall see what version of Sturdivant we will get.
Bryce Lovett
Four of Florida's five starters in 2024 along the offensive line are back for 2025, with right tackle being the lone spot that has to have a replacement.
Bryce Lovett has the inside track to be the right tackle in 2025 and we'll see how he holds up today.
KD Daniels
If you are looking for an "under the radar" guy to flash in the manner that Jadan Baugh did last year, running back, KD Daniels is a solid candidate to do that.
He'll be the featured back on the Orange team as he tries to wiggle his way into the running back rotation in 2025.
Harrison Bailey
With the uncertainty of DJ Lagway, the backup QB job feels more important than normal for the 2025 season.
Most assumed when Harrison Bailey transferred in that he would be the backup for 2025, but camp reports have indicated he is far from a lock to backup Lagway next season.
Jayden Woods
It's hard sometimes for defensive players to stand out in a spring game, but freshman Jayden Woods has had his name pop up a ton during this camp.
We'll see if the EDGE can live in the backfield this afternoon.
