The NFL Combine went about as poorly as one could have conjured up for former Florida cornerback Devin Moore. Still recovering from surgery, Moore had a pedestrian 40-yard dash time at the Combine that got even slower at Florida’s Pro Day.
But the upside for Moore is that he had a solid 2025 season, and it hasn’t seemed to scare teams off. Moore is still viewed as a late third-round to early fourth-round pick for this weekend’s NFL Draft. With that in mind, these are the five teams to keep an eye on that could take Moore this weekend.
Most likely destinations for former Florida cornerback Devin Moore
The Dolphins have a ton of early draft capital with seven picks in the first 100 overall. Particularly around the third round, Miami has the No. 75, 87, 90, and 94 picks, and is at some point going to take a cornerback or two.
If Moore is still on the board, depending on if Miami took a cornerback earlier on, that stretch of 87, 90, and 94 would be a good spot for Miami to grab him.
The belief in this draft is that the Bucs are going to be heavily focused on the defensive side, and they fall in an intriguing spot if they want Moore. Tampa Bay has the No. 77 pick, two behind Miami’s No. 75. But if Tampa Bay passes on Moore at No. 77, they would need to wait until No. 116.
It would be a bit of a surprise if Moore falls all the way to 116 based on mock drafts. But if he is still there, he would be a good fit for a team in need of cornerback depth.
As we highlighted with Caleb Banks, the Chiefs are in desperate need of some youth along their defense. The Chiefs have a similar conundrum as the Bucs. Kansas City has the No. 74 pick, one ahead of Miami. But then Miami gets all four of its picks before Kansas City picks again at No. 109.
74 might be too high for Moore, but 109 would be a good grab. The question is whether he makes it to 109.
With the No. 82 and 97 picks, Minnesota is right in the range that could make a move on Moore. The belief is that Minnesota wants to focus on its defensive line first, but it could also use a cornerback.
And given that Miami has its set of picks between 82 and 97, it could force Minnesota’s hand if they feel like Moore is the guy they want.
The Broncos are in a position where they are probably going to focus on depth more than anything. But if Moore drops out of the third round, Denver does have the No. 108 and 111 picks, which puts them ahead of Tampa Bay and Kansas City.
And if teams start getting skittish because of Moore’s performance at the Combine, Denver is in a spot where it can take a high upside gamble, unlike some other teams.
