The schedule for the Florida Gators in 2025 is going to be nearly identical to their schedule from 2024. Outside of swapping out Samford and UCF for LIU and USF, the Gators will just swap home sites from everyone they played in 2024.
And based upon early computer rankings, the road for Florida in 2025 is set to be just as brutal as it was in 2024.
Florida Football has a brutal schedule in 2025
Kelley Ford released his initial computer power rankings for the 2025 season, and the Gators were ranked 15th. This is mostly in line with the ESPN FPI computer rankings that had Florida 18th, but it still lags behind what some human polls have been putting the Gators at.

For Florida to actually finish ranked 15h in human polls, they realistically would need to go 9-3, and this is where Florida's schedule comes into view.
Based upon the KFord Power Ratings, seven of Florida opponents in 2025 are ranked ahead of the Gators.
Texas and Georgia lead the way in 1st and 2nd. LSU, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Miami are all slotted 9th through 13th.
On paper, Florida will only be favored against FSU, Kentucky, Mississippi State, USF, and LIU.
It's part of the reason why Vegas has the over/under win total for the Gators set at 6.5 wins, even though Florida's roster feels like a team that could make a bid at the playoffs if everything goes correct.
It's also worth noting that Tennessee has to prove its worth in the wake of Nico Iamaleava leaving, and Miami has to prove that Carson Beck isn't going to throw three interceptions against the Gators.
Add in the fact Florida beat LSU and Ole Miss last year, and there is a pathway to get to 9-3 or better, even with a schedule that seems impossible on paper.
Florida will open its season on August 30th against LIU and will follow that up with a date versus USF. This marks a departure from the past three years, during which Florida opened its season against a Power Five opponent.
