The 2025 football season is now just weeks away, and if fans aren't ready, then they better get ready quickly. It seems like Billy Napier is ready for the season to start, and he seems to have a whole new mindset on how to prepare his team each and every week.

Napier spoke to the media after fall camp practice yesterday and he shared how he is teaching his team to have a new type of mindset when it comes to practicing, and it is something Gator fans haven't heard from the fourth-year head coach.

"It's one thing to practice like you want to win," Napier said. "It's another thing to practice like you want to win a championship."

Napier has probably heard all the noise of people hyping up the Gators this season, and now it seems like he is buying into it. Napier knows the type of team he has this season, and it is one that has the potential to go very far, maybe even a National championship.

Of course, the Gators right now are dealing with some key injuries in fall camp, but the one injury everyone was worried about seems to be cleared up. Quarterback DJ Lagway was seen in a boot before fall camp started, but it was just a minor leg injury, and he is already back out with the team, working towards the 2025 season.

The mindset of thinking about winning a championship instead of just winning a game gives the players motivation for something bigger. Of course, teams can only take things one game at a time, but Napier and his team know that just winning games for the sake of winning them does them no good.

Winning games for the sake of making it to the College Football Playoff and winning a National Championship is what this team wants, and clearly, that is how Napier is thinking.
