Great news all around for the Gators.

It goes without saying, but the pressure is on for the Florida football team to deliver this campaign. After going 8-5 overall last year and a disappointing 4-4 in SEC play, Billy Napier is expecting his group to take a giant step forward this campaign.

He didn't waste much time at SEC Media Days in providing a positive injury update on standout quarterback DJ Lagway, who is primed to put together a sophomore season to remember. He's not the only one who is feeling healthy these days.

Matter of fact, while speaking to the media, Napier revealed that there have been no setbacks injury wise for the Gators this spring or summer and that everyone is expected to be ready to rock for fall camp. We don't have to tell you that this is major for Napier and his entire staff on both sides of the ball:

Florida football will begin fall camp with no major injuries on the roster

This is usually the time of year where there's a lot of nerves on whether or not some guys are going to be ready to start the season or not. Take a look at Tennessee, as things are totally unknown for standout cornerback Jermod McCoy - it'd be a shock if he's ready for Week 1.

That's nothing for Napier and Co. to worry about, however. Fall camp in Gainesville is all set to get underway on Wednesday, July 30. One month later, the Gators will be ready to take on the Long Island University Sharks on Aug. 30.

Obviously, there's going to be a ton of work that's going to need to get done during camp and the start of the season. Following the meeting with LIU, the Gators will take on South Florida on Sept. 6 before a monster matchup vs. LSU and Brian Kelly on Sept. 13.

That will be the first real test for Napier and his playmakers this season. Before we get to that point, though, Florida can't overlook LIU and South Florida, while everyone will need to be crisp at camp. The good news there, though, is that the program has a clean bill of health, which is tremendous.
