Once he flipped his commitment from the Oregon Ducks to the Florida Gators, wideout Dallas Wilson was the highlight of head coach Billy Napier's 2025 recruiting class. Then, he showed exactly why he was a five-star prospect during the Gators' Spring Game.
Now, the star wide receiver has shown everyone that just because it's the offseason, it doesn't mean he's taking any time off.
When Wilson signed with the Gators just a few months ago, he stood at 6-foot-3 and 209 pounds. In a recent Instagram story, he weighed in at 219, already packing on 10 pounds of muscle with more than a month remaining until the season begins.

Wilson's commitment boosted the Gators' recruiting class up to No. 10 in the nation, alongside the commitments from five-star wideout Vernell Brown III and four-star cornerback Ben Hanks III. Out of the SEC, Florida's class ranks seventh.
Over three years of varsity high school football, Wilson garnered a lot of attention, posting ridiculous stats on a weekly basis.
Dallas Wilson high school stats
- 130 receptions
- 2,423 receiving yards
- 28 receiving touchdowns
- 15 total tackles (11 solo)
- 5 pass deflections
- 5 punt/kick returns
- 243 return yards
Wilson not only played on the offensive side of the ball, but he also made appearances for his team's defensive unit and special teams. Between his sophomore and senior seasons, he averaged nearly 49 yards on punt and kick returns, his longest going for 76 yards.
While Wilson most likely won't suit up on both sides of the ball for the Gators, his ball-hawk tendencies will lend well to elite route running at the collegiate level and his return capabilities will be a promising asset for Florida's special teams squad.
Florida and Wilson will kick off their first season together against the Long Island University Sharks on Saturday, Aug. 30, at 7 p.m. ET. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and the SEC Network+.
