Florida football receiver Ricky Pearsall has been one of the key cogs of Billy Napier’s offense in 2023. Often times he is used coming across the formation, and if opponents don’t respect his motion, they are punished.

But as Pearsall showed in the first half against UNC Charlotte, even when he is covered, it doesn’t matter as he made a catch that will be a candidate for catch of the year.

Florida Football: Oh Ricky

We will try to describe the catch Pearsall made, but it won’t do it justice.

Pearsall reached over his body as he was sprinting downfield to snag a pass from Graham Mertz with just his right hand. And if the grab itself wasn’t impressive enough, Pearsall hung on after he took a big hit.

Ignore the fact that Florida is playing UNC Charlotte. This is an insane catch, no matter who the opponent is.
