Florida Football Confidence Meter Week 7: South Carolina

  • Last Season: Florida won 38-6
  • HFH Confidence Meter Preseason: 60%
  • HFH Confidence Meter Last Week: 60%
  • HFH Confidence Meter Presently 55%

Of the next four teams that Florida plays, this is probably the best of that group.

And even though we have been touting the fact that Florida smacked this team last season despite being a dumpster fire, South Carolina did hang tough against Georgia.

Spencer Rattler is a perfectly fine QB, but he is far from elite, and if Florida was able to shut down Tennessee’s offense, is one supposed to fear the Carolina offense?

And yet, we have dropped our confidence despite winning by double digits over Tennessee for a simple reason.

The special teams for Florida continue to be a disaster, and if there were ever a game for Beamer Ball to show up, it would be this one.
