Florida football recruiting only has a few spots left in its 2024 recruiting class, and is looking to round it out with the best players still on the board.

With official visits around the corner this fall, the Gators took a big step toward one of their last OL targets by getting him on the OV schedule.

Jordan Seaton, of IMG Academy, lined up six OV trips for the fall, and the Gators will be hosting him the weekend of September 16th when they host Tennessee.

Seaton is right up near the top of the Gators’ OL board and would propel the 2024 class back up toward the top three.

Florida football recruiting: Anyone’s game

It feels like every school is in it for Seaton at this time. On3’s RPM says that Alabama is the leader for him, but Jordan didn’t set up an official with the Tide.

The other schools receiving an OV are LSU, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Oregon, and South Carolina.

Originally from Washington DC, Seaton clearly isn’t tied down by going back north to play closer to home, giving each school a pretty equal shot.

We’ve written about Seaton before, and how he’s a versatile guy who can play at both tackle and guard and blocks guys through the whistle on every snap.

He would be the highest-rated OL commit by a wide margin for the Gators if they could close on him. Jordan is the 38th-best player in the country and the 2nd-best OT in 2025.

Adding him to the class with DJ Lagway and Florida’s three speedy wide receiver commits would make this offensive haul for the Gators lethal.

Florida’s class was ranked as high as No. 2 in the country but has since leaked down to No. 4 as other teams have added to their list.

Getting a guy like Seaton on board would go a long way in getting the Gators back up into the top three classes in the country.
