Hail Florida Hail Confidence: Gators 90% to win

Vandy is coming off of their best win of the season, knocking off #6 Tennessee on a buzzer-beater three in front of their home crowd. For a Commodores team that was struggling to find positives in the season, and a coach who was on the hot seat, that was a huge win for them.

Here’s the good news: Vandy is a bad team. When you have an emotional win like that on your home floor over your rival, the last thing you want to do is go on the road to play a tough opponent in your next game. Well, that’s what they have to do.

I’m a firm believer that home court in college basketball is the most influential homecourt advantage in all of sports. Vandy isn’t beating the Vols in Knoxville, come on.

Florida, who is now desperate for some wins, gets to come home and play their first bad opponent in over two weeks. Colin Castleton, even though he’s been the only Gator to really make an impact the past few weeks, has turned into an absolute animal. There’s nobody on Vanderbilt who can stop him.

We can expect the shooting to be a little better as well as Florida returns to their home court and gets to play in front of their home fans. This will be a great bounce-back spot for Florida, and the start of a winning streak.
