The Florida football program will host yet another high-profile recruit in the Swamp. TreVonte Citizen, will be visiting the Gators today and tomorrow on an “unofficial” visit.

Citizen, is a 4-star running back recruit out of Louisiana and he is ranked as the 9th overall running back in the 2022 class. The young running back is stopping Gainesville for the next two days, he will head to Miami later in the week for his last official visit of 2022.

I wouldn’t get too excited for this visit, Florida would really have to shock Citizen to sway him to the Gators. It is great that he is staying for two days, but the fact that he didn’t set an official visit with Napier is pretty discouraging. Citizen has already officially visited LSU, Miami, Texas, and Texas A&M. 247 Recruiting has TreVonte as a virtual lock for his hometown LSU Tigers.

Billy Napier received a commitment from 4-star running back Trevor Etienne a few weeks ago, while also receiving a 4-star transfer in Montrell Johnson. The Gators are also set to host a 4-star Georgia running back commit in Jordan James later this week.
