3. The SEC is going to be fun next year

So, SEC media day is going to be exciting with the likes of LSU’s Ed Orgeron, Kiffin, Leach (and inevitably a pirate story), Mullen and the rest of the coaches.

Oh, and the Egg Bowl just became a game to actually watch with Kiffin on one side and Leach on the other.

For Florida football, we only get Kiffin and Ole Miss in 2020 and the game is in Oxford two weeks before the Cocktail Party in Jacksonville.

Regardless, those weekly coaches’ teleconferences and SEC media day just got more interesting and, dare I say, exciting.

The SEC now might have the most eclectic range of personalities as head football coaches. On one end of the spectrum, you have Kiffin and his Twitter account, Leach and his pirate stories and even Mullen and the natural excitement he brings on and off the field.

On the other hand, there’s Vanderbilt’s Derek Mason, Tennessee’s Jeremy Pruitt and Alabama’s Nick Saban who are all pretty reserved (for the most part).

Not for nothing, but I’m pretty stoked about next season for both Florida football and the Southeastern Conference.
