2. Whoever plays quarterback

One thing is certain, neither Mo Hasan nor Riley Neal will be quarterbacking Vanderbilt on Saturday.

Both suffered concussions — Hasan against Missouri and Neal against South Carolina. Coach Derek Mason said both are under concussion protocols and won’t play Saturday.

That leaves either Deuce Wallace or Allan Walters as the third-string quarterback.

Only Wallace — a redshirt junior — as actually played this season. So far, he’s 33-for-76 for 217 yards and no touchdowns.

Not sparkling, but the Commodores have another player back this week (and we’ll mention him shortly) that could help the passing game, although I highly doubt it.

For what it’s worth, Wallace loves to throw to the left, where he’s 8-for-25 passing — not including passes behind the line of scrimmage.
