Florida football: Georgia injury report ahead of Cocktail Party
The Georgia Bulldogs have been pretty banged up of late, which could be good news for Florida football heading into this weekend’s Cocktail Party.
Coming into Saturday’s clash with Florida football, the Georgia Bulldogs have suffered a few injuries.
In fact, according to the latest injury report from USA Today, there have been six injuries to players since the first of October.
Whether that bodes well for Florida football yet, remains to be seen.
Here’s the latest injury report for Georgia leading up to the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party Saturday in Jacksonville.
Out
Justin Shaffer, offensive line
Georgia offensive lineman Justin Shaffer suffered a neck injury in the Bulldogs’ overtime loss to South Carolina. He is listed as being out for Saturday’s game with Florida football.

Wide receiver Tommy Bush has been out most of the season with a sports hernia. There is no timetable for his return to the lineup.

Georgia tackle Owen Condon has been out due to an unknown lower-body injury. He is listed as being out indefinitely.
Tramel Walthaur, defensive line
Defensive lineman Tramel Walthaur, like Condon, is out indefinitely with an unknown lower-body injury.
D’Wan Mathis, quarterback
One of Georgia’s backup quarterbacks, D’Wan Mathis, had a cyst removed from his brain back in August. The team has no timetable for his return.
Questionable
Jordan Davis, defensive line
Georgia defensive lineman Jordan Davis recently suffered an ankle injury. It is not yet known whether he will play against Florida football Saturday.
Brian Herrien, running back
Backup running back Brian Herrien recently suffered a back injury and it remains unclear as to whether he will suit up against Florida Saturday.
Mark Webb, defensive back
Georgia defensive back Mark Webb was recently sidelined with a knee injury. He is listed as questionable for Saturday’s game with Florida.
Lawrence Cager, wide receiver
Wide receiver Lawrence Cager suffered a separated left shoulder and injured ribs in the first half of Georgia’s loss to South Carolina. He is listed as questionable or probable for Saturday.
Tyson Campbell, defensive back
Georgia defensive back Tyson Campbell has been out the last four games with a right foot injury. It is not clear if he will play Saturday against Florida football.
Probable
Travon Walker, defensive line
Defensive lineman Travon Walker has been out the last two games with a wrist injury. However, he has been upgraded to probable for Saturday’s game.
