Florida football: Here’s 5 opponents we’d like to see for the Gators

1. Clemson, ACC

I have to say, when I saw Radakovich’s tweet, my ears perked up a bit.

Then, when I read 2037, they went right back down again.

However, the thought of getting Clemson in Gainesville — a team they last played in 1961 — would be pretty interesting.

Florida football is 9-3-1 against the Tigers in their 13 games.

Plus, since I used to live in Greenville, South Carolina, trekking up to Clemson to catch the game wouldn’t be a bad idea.

I think the gate receipts for this game would have the potential to be pretty high, depending on the state of each program (let’s face it, Clemson isn’t going to sit on top of the world forever, right?).

Will it happen: Not likely. If Radakovich is thinking that far out, then it would be some time before a series like the came to fruition.
