Lamar (2-0) at Texas A&M (1-1)

When and where: 7 p.m. Saturday at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas.

On the air: ESPNU.

Outlook: In the end, Kellen Mond and the Aggies just didn’t have enough left in the tank to compete with No. 1 Clemson last week. The Texas A&M running game had just 53 yards on the ground while Mond was 24-for-42 for 236 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Now, they have Lamar, who needed an overtime field goal from Bailey Giffen to beat Mississippi Valley State last week.

The Last Line: The Aggies are going to rebound, and rebound nicely at the expense of Lamar. Should be over by halftime.
