WR-Josh Hammond

The Florida Gators are very rich at the wide receiver position. with Van Jefferson who led the team in many categories last season to Trevon Grimes, Tyrie Cleveland or Kadarius Toney.

But one receiver stands out as one to watch, Josh Hammond. Hammond is one of Franks favorite players.

"“He knows when to break hot. He and the quarterback are always on the same page. He’s not spectacular, but he does what he needs to do. He does his job. That’s the most important thing.” Franks stated."

But more than anything this guy just knows how to play WR. Pro Football Focus has Hammond with a drop rate of 0.0%.

Yes, that is right, he almost never drops a pass. Likewise, If he gets one on one with anybody coming out of the slot, he seems to beat them every time. As well, at six feet and around 194lbs he is probably the wide receiving corps best run blocker.

Just watch any practice or game and you can see he likes that part of the game. The combination of Franks and Hammond just might be too much for the Miami defense.
