Tight End
Jake McGee, RS Senior/Transfer
You have to feel for the Gators’ Jake McGee.
The graduate transfer from Virginia has been granted his sixth and final college football season after breaking his tibia and fibula in the very first game last season.
After 71 career catches and seven touchdowns at Virginia, 2015 will be the year of redemption for McGee and the Gators will surely be reliant on the experienced tight end.

There are major concerns with how McGee will rebound from the injury and whether or not he can hold up for the rest of the season.
DeAndre Goolsby figures to win the primary backup spot behind McGee and could use 2015 to gain big momentum for the 2016 season.
Goolsby, who was recruited heavily by college juggernauts like Ohio State and Oklahoma, has the natural talent and athletic ability at tight end to become a force at the position once he gets game reps.
