UF Career: Average for a top-10 prospect
Gator fans were excited at the prospect of ultra-athlete Will Hill playing in Gainesville. Ultimately his time in school turned out to be consistent, yet disappointing.
Coming out of high school, Hill was a star track and field athlete and he even recorded a 4.4 40-yard dash time, so having that athleticism at FS made sense for the Gators.
As a freshman, Hill compiled 48 tackles and two interceptions, giving us a glimpse of the playmaking ability that Hill possessed.
But Hill’s coverage skills never really progressed any higher during his time at UF, although he did have 144 tackles in his career on defense and on special teams.
Hill went undrafted in 2011 after forgoing his senior year but he signed with the New York Giants and played there for two seasons.
He’s currently a member of the Baltimore Ravens.
