2010: No. 1 Defensive Tackle, No. 4 overall

UF Career: Great

As if being the best defensive tackle in high school wasn’t enough pressure for Sharrif Floyd, he also was the highest rated DT to commit to Florida.

Unlike past 5-star defensive tackles, Floyd lived up to the hype and put together a great collegiate career.

Floyd started 26 games in his three years playing at UF. He tabulated 115 career tackles, he had three blocked punt or field-goal attempts and he had 8.5 tackles for loss in his fantastic junior year.

Floyd was named a first-team All-American by Sporting News and received third-team honors from the Associated Press.

In the 2013 NFL Draft, Floyd was selected 23rd overall by the Minnesota Vikings and in 2014, Floyd led all Vikings defensive linemen with 20 QB hurries.
