DT Robert Nkemdiche, Junior- Ole Miss
In yet another high profile player from Ole Miss, Robert Nkemdiche is a stud among defensive linemen in the SEC.
There’s other good way to describe Nkemdiche’s game rather than saying it’s like a wrecking ball tearing down a 10-story building.

While his numbers don’t pop out of the stat line (69 career tackles, 12 tackles for a loss), his game tape says otherwise.
The Gators may be the weakest up front on their offensive line, exactly where Nkemdiche lines up.
Florida may be forced to double-team him on every single play or else you’re likely to see him chasing down the quarterback before you know it.
Strengths
- Can time the quarterback’s snap count and get good jumps off the line of scrimmage.
- Versatile but big defensive lineman. Can easily play the 4-3 DE or the DT.
- The power and the strength he possesses are scary. Go back and watch a clip in the Alabama game, he absolutely mauled a guard.
Weaknesses
- Has struggled at times fighting off various injuries. Another player who has to prove that he can stay healthy throughout the course of a season.
- Not much of a pass rushing move-set at the moment.
- Got into a bit of a controversy involving a photo of him smoking from a bong. Cause for concern among NFL teams?
