No. 2 Chris Doering (1992-1995)
A key player among the many talented Gator teams of the ’90s, Chris Doering was one of the best receivers in SEC history. In his four years as a Gator, Doering caught 149 passes for 31 touchdowns and 2,107 receiving yards. His 31-career touchdown receptions still stand to this day as an SEC record.

As the Gators continued to excel, Doering began receiving recognition for his play. Some of his accolades include:
- 3-time SEC Champion in 1993, 1994, & 1995
- First-team All-SEC in 1995
- Second-team All-American in 1995
- UF Hall of Fame inductee in 2006
After a stellar senior season, Doering was drafted 185th overall in the sixth round of the 1996 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts.
His NFL career was a rough one as he played for seven teams in his eight years in the league.
