Donnell Harvey (2000, 1st Rd, 22nd pick) – New York Knicks (traded to Dallas)

After just one year in Gainesville, Donell Harvey left for the NBA Draft. But the former USA Today All-USA 1st Team member and Naismith Prep Player of the Year coming out of high school never lived up to that hype in the NBA.

He lasted five years in the NBA before a lengthy career overseas.

Dwayne Schintzius (1990, 1st Rd, 24th pick) – San Antonio Spurs

He is still to this day the only player in SEC history to rack up 1,000 points, 800 rebounds, 250 assists, and 250 blocks and helped Florida make the NCAA Tournament for the first time in ages during his stint in Gainesville.

His NBA career was nothing special, but he did stick around for eight seasons.

Schintzius wound up passing away in 2012 due to a rare form of leukemia.

David Lee (2005, 1st Rd, 30th pick) – New York Knicks

Lee's senior season was the freshman season for the group of Horford, Noah, and Brewer, and so he, too, sometimes gets lost in the wash when it comes to Gator greats.

He went on to become a two-time All-Star and won an NBA title in 2015 with Golden State.
