Highly-anticipated Florida infielder Brendan Lawson hit his first career home run during Saturday's contest against Dayton. Lawson's four-run home run "grand slam" extended Florida's lead from one run to five runs.

Florida would go on to win the game 13-1 over Dayton to move to 6-0 on the season in a seven inning run shorten game. Liam Peterson went 4.0 innings in the win a he struck out five batters while giving up two walks.

Bobby Boser and Colby Shelton both had three hits whie Brody Donay and Blake Cyr had two hits each.

Florida will look to close out the sweep against Dayton tomorrow at 12 PM.
