Two key injuries leave Florida Football shorthanded against Georgia
Coming out of the Kentucky game, most Florida Football fans feared whether or not Jason Marshall would be available against Georgia. Marshall had to leave the game against Kentucky early and was later spotted in a sling.
The Wednesday injury report confirmed a worst-case scenario for Gator fans, along with another key starter unexpectedly being listed as out.

Billy Napier was asked about the status of Marshall earlier this week and he deflected to say wait until the injury report would come out Wednesday evening. Now that the report is out, it is confirmed Marshall will be out against Georgia.
But even worse, multiple outlets, including Gators Online and Swamp247, are reporting that Marshall has a labrum issue and will undergo surgery that will knock him out for the rest of the season.
Marshall was having a great bounce-back season after a disappointing 2023 campaign, and while Florida has other corners they feel okay about, Marshall was far and away their best in 2024.
Also back on the injury report is Tre Wilson. His yo-yo campaign saw him miss the games against Mississippi State and UCF before coming back against Tennessee and Kentucky.
Napier had hinted earlier in the week that Wilson still wasn't 100%, but there was minimal indication he wouldn't be available against Georgia. Yet on the injury report, Wilson is listed as out on Saturday.
For what it is worth, Wilson has only played in four games this season so he does still have a redshirt option if his issue keeps him out for the rest of the season.
Overall, Florida has 12 players listed on their injury report ahead of the game against Georgia.
