If there is anyone who knows what it's like to play for an elite coach in Gainesville, it's Tim Tebow. The Gator legend came to town to play for Urban Meyer and left with two national titles and a Heisman trophy.

In the wake of Tebow and Meyer, the Gators have gone through four coaches, none of whom have lasted more than four years. And not that Florida is once again looking for a new coach, Tebow has the blueprint for what Florida should look for.

Tim Tebow says Florida needs a galvanizing coach

Speaking on SportsCenter, Tebow laid out the checkboxes Florida's new coach needs:

"You've got to find someone that can galvanize the (fans) and bring Gator Nation back to where they want to go and back to where they've been.

I also think it's really important to understand that they're not that far away. This is a Florida team that has a really good defense and a very talented offense. This cupboard is not bare, but you have to find someone that can really galvanize, and also keep these players in a time where it's so easy to leave and transfer, and they have an opportunity to do that."

To his point, part of why things went south in a hurry in the Billy Napier Era was that once the wins started to pile up, Napier never gave the fans a sense that he had a handle on things.

He stuck with his same platitudes of "process," and his press conferences wound up making some great ASMR to fall asleep to.

And it's the fact that Florida does have talent on offense that was the final straw for many Gator fans. This year, Napier had multiple five-stars, future NFL prospects, and All-Americans on offense, and yet the only time he cracked 30 points was against LIU, and in all four losses, he was held under 20 points.

Despite what others may say, the talent in Gainesville should be enticing for the right coach to come in and immediately take advantage of.

And even if some do opt to transfer out, the right coach should be capable of getting players to transfer in.
