These lingering issues from 2024 can't carry over if Florida wants to win in 2025

"The Gaffe" can not happen

If one wants to argue that Napier has had to pick up the pieces from the Dan Mullen Era, and just now, he has a roster in place custom-built for his system, that is a different argument.

The problem we have had with Napier, particularly these past two seasons, is that poor organization has directly cost Florida games it should have otherwise won.

Napier has built a greatest-hits list from two players wearing the same number, running an ill-timed double reverse, giving up 4th-and-17 because you matched up a backup linebacker with the top WR in the SEC, and recklessly going for it on 4th down.

However, the two most inexcusable ones have been the field goal sequences against Arkansas and Tennessee. In the case of Arkansas, it directly cost Florida the game. Against Tennessee, it's not a guarantee the game would have played out the same, but giving away three points heading into halftime in a game lost in overtime was not a great look.

If that happens again in 2025, no amount of talent is going to be able to save Napier.
