Florida Football took the field inside The Swamp and had a productive spring game. The Blue Team won 38-32, and there were plenty of positives to take away from the afternoon, including Dallas Wilson and Ja'kobi Jackson both having huge days.

Now that the Gators will go back on hiatus until the summer, here are three lingering questions we have about the afternoon.

Florida Football: Sooo, why was this game not on TV?

Florida waited until Thursday to announce that they were not going to air the spring game on TV. It follows the trend we have seen all through college football, and Florida is far from alone in choosing not to air the game.

But it seems somewhat silly that Florida chose not to air the game when they then turned around and plastered their social media with clips from the game on top of 10+ accounts online also posting clips.

Napier claimed in his post-game press conference, "So in general, we don't have to worry about what's on tape, and obviously people aren't evaluating our twos and threes in the depth chart."

He then followed that up with, "Yeah, we've reached agreements with 98% of the team, so I think we're just one or two players away from being done. So as far as the player retention part."

So, if everyone on the team is locked up and happy, and opposing coaches can just hop on X to see all your clips, what was achieved by limiting fan access?

Can Aidan Warner actually spin it?

One of the running memes last year was when Aidan Warner was inserted against Georgia, Nick de la Torre, then with On3 and now with Florida Victorious, tweeted out, "Aidan Warner can spin it."

As we all know, things did not go great for Warner against Georgia or Texas. Of the 218 QBs around the country who had at least 50 attempts in 2024, Warner was 214th in yards per attempt.

Rumblings from camp, however, seemed to hint that Warner was beating Harrison Bailey for the backup quarterback job. Napier praised Warner last week after the team scrimmage, but he did not praise Bailey.

Well, Warner was 10/23 for 157 yards and two touchdowns playing with the 1st unit on Saturday, while Bailey went 29/43 for 363 yards and three touchdowns playing with the 2nd unit.

Should there be concerns about the interior of the defensive line?

The classic spring game conundrum is that if your offense looks good, your defense looks bad. In addition, most teams do not run a bunch of exotic fronts in spring games that they would use once the season begins.

But if there is one unit that has question marks heading into 2025 is at defensive tackle. Florida lost a bunch of key guys to graduation and as we know they were timid in the portal.

So when Jackson has a big day for almost 200 yards, one has to wonder if there should be any concern about the DTs for Florida.

Now, there is the caveat that Caleb Banks did not play on Saturday, so his presence will give Florida a boost in the fall.
