The SEC basketball slate continues to roll on, with Auburn holding firm at the top of the rankings while Florida aims to bounce back from a tough loss.

As teams continue to jockey for position, Florida is still among the top group of teams in the conference but will need a big week to stay on track.

The SEC leads all conferences with four teams ranked in the top 10 of the NCAA’s NET rankings—Auburn (1st), Tennessee (4th), Florida (5th), and Alabama (6th). Further down the SEC has nine teams in the top 25 and 14 in the top 50. SEC squads have amassed 70 Quad 1 wins and lead the nation in both Quad 1 and Quad 2 combined victories.

Despite their strong NET ranking, Florida suffered a setback with their 64-44 loss to Tennessee on Saturday. The Gators will look to rebound as they prepare to face Vanderbilt on February 4. Meanwhile, Auburn is still on top and is ranked No. 1 in the AP Poll for the fourth consecutive week. The Tigers maintained their top spot in the conference after a 92-82 victory over Ole Miss.

The SEC’s +21.43 KenPom rating is the highest ever recorded, and four of the top six teams in KenPom’s Adjusted Offensive Efficiency hail from the conference. Additionally, five SEC teams rank in the top 10 of the Associated Press Poll, with Auburn, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, and Texas A&M.

Florida will face Vanderbilt tonight before a massive showdown with Auburn on Saturday. Other key matchups this week include Alabama vs. Arkansas, Tennessee vs. Missouri, Texas A&M vs Missouri.

The latest bracketology from ESPN has 13 of the 16 teams from the SEC making the NCAA Tournament, with Arkansas, LSU, and South Carolina being the three teams currently on the outside looking in.
