Will Tre Wilson be OP in CFB 25 and make Florida Football a top team to use?

With EA College Football 25 set to launch in July, Florida Football won't necessarily stand out as a top team to use in this year's edition. Coming off a 5-7 season, the Gators probably won't be rated high in the game and fans hoping to build a dynasty might have to take longer to bring Florida back to glory than it might take the actual team in real life.

Either way, there is one player for Florida who gamers might lean on because no one is going t be able to stop him.

Florida Football: It's In The Game

It's doubtful that EA will have a game where one player can take over the entire game like Bo Jackson or Michael Vick did back in the day, but based on what we saw in the gameplay trailer from a couple of weeks ago, they do intend to make top players feel like top players.

Hayes Fawcett of On3 seems to think Florida may have one of the more overpowered players featured in the game.

Included in his list is Tre Wilson, Florida's sophomore wide receiver who has the potential to turn even more heads in 2024 if the Gators can finish with a winning record.

Wilson's overall speed in the game is going to be off the charts, and we know from game play footage that cut moves are going to be fast and fluid. Add it all together and there might not be a coverage in the game capable of containing Wilson.

EA Sports claims there will be a wear and tear feature in the game, limiting how many hits Wilson would be able to take. But depending on how the mechanism plays out, or if users opt to turn it off, it might be a wise choice to just give Tre the ball on every play.
