Is Kentucky good? No.
They went 7-5 in 2023, and like Tennessee only on of those wins came against a Power Five opponent that ended 2023 with a winning record (Louisville).
But every year, the Wildcats transform from some middling SEC team to hulking up and smashing Florida, only to recede back into a middling SEC team.
Yet the stage is set for Kentucky to do that again, as the Wildcats will play Vanderbilt the week before this contest.
