October 5 vs UCF

Computer rankings will tell you that UCF was better than advertised in 2023 despite going 6-6 in their first season as part of a Power Five conference.


But it turns out that having to play real teams every week and not just get amped for one or two Super Bowls is kind of difficult. Five of the six wins for the Knights were either against cupcakes or former AAC members that joined them in the BIg 12.

On paper, Florida should come into this game with the more talented roster. UCF is the king at picking up Florida's scraps. And this game will be after Florida's first bye week while UCF will be coming off of a conference game.

We will also state that this game will be UCF's Super Bowl. And unlike the Gasparilla Bowl, this game will feature two teams playing at full strength. If Florida loses this one, Napier will be needing to polish his resume.
