There is a fine line in sports between heckling and being a lunatic. Florida Baseball has their fair share of guys who can chirp, and we here at Hail Florida Hail haven't been shy to call out other teams, but the golden rule is that you always keep it about baseball.

Last night though, two Texas A&M fans had to be escorted out after they tried to go after Kevin O'Sullivan for what appears to be an attempt to drudge up a tragedy from his personal life.

Florida Baseball: Hey Siri, Show Me What A Cult Looks Like

During the second inning of Florida's contest against Texas A&M, two Aggie fans had to be removed from the stadium after they approached the railing near the Gator dugout and starting screaming like lunatics at Florida.

From the TV broadcast, one looks at this duo and is reminded to not drink too much.

But X user Eric Sorenson posted details of what was said, and the accusations are far more sinister.

If you are confused as to what they are yelling about, hit the rewind button to last year. They appear to be referring to Barstool Sports personality Jack McGuire, who posted a video bringing up a story with O'Sullivan and his now-wife, Minde O'Sullivan. The video referred to a 2021 incident when Minde's two sons were murdered by her then-estranged husband.

The incident sparked changes in Florida's autopsy law when dealing with minors, and McGuire took the video down because he left out key details from the incident, which tried to make Kevin O'Sullivan out to be the bad guy, as Kevin and Minde became married after the incident.

But rather than read the multiple articles out there which provide gruesome details about the incident and should fill one with sadness and empathy for everyone involved, these two Aggie fans appear to have taken the word of videos on the internet.

And to cross that line during a baseball game isn't cute, it isn't funny, and isn't healthy.

It's sad behavior from two fans with main character syndrome.

Update

Since we wrote this piece this morning, the Omaha Police Officers Association has posted on X with the recommendation that these two fans be banned for life from the College World Series.
